Control More Of The Frequency Range!
The 6-inch depth provides broadband absorption across low, mid and high frequencies.
Reduce Reflections & Reverberation!
Use broadband absorbers to control unwanted reflections and excessive reverberation for a cleaner, more controlled room.
Improve Sound Clarity!
Ideal for recording studios, mixing rooms, home theaters, podcast rooms, vocal rooms and other critical listening spaces.
Professional Quality Acoustic Foam
SoundAssured broadband absorbers are made from professional open-cell polyurethane acoustic foam formulated for sound absorption.

How many absorbers come in a case?
Each case includes 8 pieces: 4 male broadband absorbers and 4 female broadband absorbers.
What size is each absorber?
Each piece measures 12" wide x 6" deep x 48" long.
What is the NRC rating?
Both the male and female broadband absorbers have an overall NRC of 0.95 based on third-party laboratory testing.
Why are these absorbers 6 inches thick?
Greater foam depth helps extend useful absorption into lower frequencies while still providing strong mid and high-frequency absorption.
Where should I install broadband absorbers?
They can be used at first reflection points, on walls and in other areas where substantial broadband absorption is needed. Placement depends on your room, speakers and acoustic goals.
Are these bass traps?
Broadband absorbers provide absorption across a wide frequency range, including greater low-frequency absorption than thinner foam panels. For dedicated room-corner treatment, we also offer acoustic foam bass traps.
Does broadband acoustic foam soundproof a room?
No. Acoustic foam absorbs sound inside a room to reduce reflections and reverberation. It is not designed to block sound transmission through walls, floors or ceilings.
Can I choose the color?
Yes. Broadband absorbers are available in 13 colors.
Is the foam fire rated?
Yes. SoundAssured acoustic foam is Class A fire rated and ASTM E84 tested.
Is the foam made in the USA?
Yes. SoundAssured acoustic foam is made in the USA.
How do I install the absorbers?

I wasn’t sure how to stick this to the wall so I haven’t gotten to it yet. You also need to wait 24/48 hrs until in fully inflates from packaging (not a problem) but not too convenient if you have a busy life or don’t have adhesive or tacks on hand.
Hi Syraia, thanks for sharing your thoughts! We will take this into consideration. The foam ships compressed to offer a better price. Adhesives are sold separately. Please send us a message if you have any questions about installation or need recommendations for the best adhesive for your needs... Cheers!
I struggle with echo in my den and bedroom. I don’t have to worry about noisy neighbors or if I am too noisy either. Great peace of mind at a great cost.
Hi Syraia, we're so happy to hear the panels are helping create a more peaceful space for you! Thanks for sharing your experience with SoundAssured.
