Hush from Sense & Sound used our diffusers on the ceiling in a recent studio build! He mixed the large and small panels together. It looks amazing!
What are acoustic diffusers used for?
Decrease echoes!Sound diffusers are used to treat echoes and reflections. Unlike acoustic foam panels that are designed to absorb sound waves at different frequencies, acoustic diffusers are designed to scatter sound waves.
Get professional quality sound! Our acoustic panels are made for sound diffusion, not sound absorption. Absorption panels will have a dampening effect while diffusion panels will maintain a more lively sound. These diffusers are used for high frequency (above 2000 Hz) diffusion. Diffusers are often used in combination with sound absorbing panels and bass traps in order to get the desired sound in your room.
Acoustic diffusers are placed at the reflection points in your room.
For a recording studio the most common reflection points for diffuser placement are at the back wall or on the ceiling between the listening position and the sound source.

Attractive, low-profile design that does not impede seating yet provides enough acoustic diffusion to eliminate slap echo in my moderately treated multi-purpose home theater.

Great design feature, great value for money
I'm a studio designer at www.Sense-sound.com in Los Angeles.
Just installed 72 of these PVC polygons in my latest studio project
Easy to purchase and talk to, quick to arrive, cheaper than anything else, easy to work with, and clears up the room response from 1kHz and above.
I've placed these all over the ceiling, in the gaps in between the clouds.

Sound Assured was great to work with. They answered all of my questions and made recommendations for the room. The panels look great on our wall and ceiling and are not only working for sound diffusion but also look great!

I love the different color ways and styles SoundAssured carries for sound proofing. My only issue was I thought the Plum was more fuchsia or pink when in fact it is a dark purple or eggplant. But that is literally my only qualm! Quick shipping & delivery too! I will definitely recommend SoundAssured to those in need of stylish and reliable acoustic foam
Very please with the product and the result. Nothing, but positive comments on the look of this project installation. Great service acquiring these panels.
